Description
Once a year the Alpacas of Avalon are shorn and their fleece sorted. Only the finest fleece is sent away to a family business in Orange where it is cleaned and spun into yarn.
Alpaca fleece is light, soft and exceptionally warm. The 4ply can be used on its own for fine work, baby beanies or blankets, or knitted with an 8 ply sheep or alpaca wool for more weight and thickness.
