My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Avalon River Retreat and will definitely be returning. Sophie was amazing and so welcoming. Our cabin was sparkly clean and cosy, with fresh eggs, honey, milk and home made yoghurt available for us. We were made very welcome by their 3 gorgeous farm dogs, who we loved having around and who came along on our walks with us. We were able to walk right up to their friendly horses, enjoy the fireplace and stargaze at night. Sophie also showed us the best place to see some platypus in their river, which we feel incredibly blessed to have seen! The river, paddocks, farm and rainforest on their property are stunning and the quiet peace surrounding them is beautiful. We loved our stay, and would definitely recommend it.
