Description
Once a year the Alpacas of Avalon are shorn and their fleece sorted and graded. Only the highest grade young fleece is sent to a family Mill in Orange where it is cleaned and spun into yarn.
Alpaca yarn is light, exceptionally soft and warm, and can be worked either alone or with a 4ply yarn for additional warmth.
