Where is Avalon?
Avalon lies on the banks of the Ellenborough River, at the heart of the Hastings Hinterland. We are situated approximately 80 minutes west of Port Macquarie, NSW.
Like the Avalon of old, we don’t publish how to get here.
Once your reservation is confirmed we will send you detailed directions (google maps confuses farm roads with public roads) to ensure you reach us safely and in good time.
Suffice it to say that it is an oasis, a heartland, a homecoming and a sacred space – we guarantee you will love it as much as we do.
An incredibly special place
We stayed here during a recent period of bereavement. The property is a beautiful healing place (that you really don’t want or need to leave) and Sophie was beyond wonderful, welcoming us with open hearts and hearth.
